About Us...

Smokey is a 2 and a half year old male Khaki Campbell drake that I hand raised as a duckling. My name is Ava Ann, and I am 13 years old. I have owned Smokey since I was 11. Smokey wears a signature blue collar with a yellow star shaped ID tag on it, and when I am walking him, he wears a blue harness. Some may think it is strange to put a collar on a duck, but I think that is part of his trademark! LOL! 2 and a half years ago, we went to Tractor Supply to get 2 ducks. We strongly felt we should get a 3rd duck, so we got Smokey. We weren't going to buy him, but we did anyway, and boy has he changed our lives!!! He is the most trusting duck that anybody, including me, has ever seen. He has touched many people's hearts and made some even cry with his inspirational story!
